Micah Ehler began his Taekwondo training at the age of seventeen, and is currently a Kukkiwon 3rd Dan black belt and a Chang Moo Kwan 4th Dan black belt.

At the age of 22 he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving with the 17th Aviation Brigade in South Korea and with the I Corps at Fort Lewis, Washington.

Micah has trained under Grand Master Dong Ki Shin, Grand Master Se Yong Chang, and 14 time national champion and former U.S. national team coach Grandmaster Jong Gul Park.

In 2016 Micah started a free Taekwondo program for under-privileged youth in North Richmond, CA. Instructor Micah’s primary goal is to help children and adults realize their true potential and grow their self confidence through the teachings of Taekwondo. He strongly believes that Taekwondo’s teachings of courtesy, integrity, self-control, perseverance and indomitable spirit can and should be applied outside the Dojang.

In July 2015 Micah joined the full-time staff of Hwa Rang Kwan, and became the Deputy Head Instructor and General Manager.
